Q.Max Sheet Metal Punch, 31mm, for Up to 16 Gauge

The Q.Max Sheet Metal Punch offers a quick, effective solution for cutting clean, precise holes in sheet metal (up to 16 gauge). Its specialised design ensures even load distribution during the cutting process, resulting in smooth, burr-free holes that require no additional finishing.

Featuring heat-treated cutting edges and a black anti-corrosive surface, this punch resists rust and maintains durability over time. It is sold individually—please note that a hexagonal key (MB 8mm) must be purchased separately.

How It Works:

1. Thread the punch onto the hexagonal screw and pass it through the hole.
2. Position the die on top of the die nut.
3. Screw the die nut onto the hexagonal screw until it touches the metal sheet.
4. Use an 8mm hexagonal key to turn the screw—this pulls the punch through the metal, creating a clean hole.

Note: These instructions apply to punches up to 15mm in size. Larger sizes (15mm+) have a simplified configuration with fewer components and an integrated thread in the punch.
