Yale PM246 2 Lever Mortice Sashlock, Chrome, 67mm
Yale PM246 mortice sashlock (2 lever) in polished chrome. Ideal for internal timber doors with key operation from both sides.
The Yale PM246 2 Lever Mortice Sashlock provides a standard level of security, making it ideal for internal timber doors. This sashlock features a 12.5mm deadbolt that can be locked or unlocked with a key from either side, ensuring convenience and privacy for internal applications.
Unlike a basic deadlock, a sashlock includes both a deadbolt and a latch mechanism, which is operated by lever handles from both sides. This design offers enhanced functionality for doors where both security and ease of access are required.
Mortice locks are graded by their number of levers (ranging from 2 to 5), with higher-lever models providing increased security. The PM246 features 2 levers, balancing security and affordability for internal residential use.
