Composition and Compatibility
WD-40 is a mixture of chemical concentrates suspended in a high grade petroleum distillate. It will not affect fabrics, rubbers or plastics, and its working temperature is between -100°F and +500°F.
Household Uses
Beyond workshop tasks, the spray can be used to remove scuff marks from skirting boards, rid shower screens of water marks, clean piano keys, stop ironing board squeaking, remove tea stains from work tops and lino flooring, and remove chewing gum from shoes and carpets.
