The ForgeFix Spectre™ PZ Compatible Wood Screws combine high-performance features typically found in premium screws into a versatile, multi-purpose wood screw. Designed to deliver superior performance, these screws are ideal for a wide range of woodworking applications.
Featuring a countersunk Pozidrive-compatible recessed head, these screws ensure a secure and flush finish. The fully threaded design (up to 50mm) incorporates a sawtooth thread to prevent wood splitting and a reamer to eliminate jacking in longer screws (50mm and above). Additionally, they boast a surface-hardened Type 17 slash point for easy insertion.
A zinc yellow passivated finish enhances corrosion resistance, making these screws suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The finish undergoes a process similar to galvanisation but includes a yellow dye for an attractive appearance. CE approved for load-bearing timber construction, these screws meet rigorous industry standards for strength and reliability.
