ForgeFix ForgeFast TORX® Compatible Wood Screw, 5.0x100mm, Pack of 300
High-performance ForgeFix wood screws with Torx® drive & Elementech 400 coating. 5.0x100mm, pack of 300. Ideal for interior woodworking.
The ForgeFix ForgeFast TORX® Compatible Wood Screws are engineered for superior performance and durability, designed to meet the highest standards in woodworking and construction applications. With their universally accepted Torx® compatible drive, these screws ensure a secure and efficient fastening experience, reducing the risk of cam-out and providing greater torque transmission.
Featuring recessed ribs for improved countersinking and reduced surface dust, these screws offer a superior finish. The reinforced countersunk necks enhance holding power, ensuring your projects remain sturdy and secure. The patented drill and drive thread minimises timber splitting, reduces 'jacking' and spinning of joined timber, and increases pull-out resistance for a firmer fix. Additionally, their sharp point allows for faster bite and can even pierce 0.8mm steel.
These screws benefit from the 'Elementech 400' coating, an advanced anti-corrosive finish that lasts up to 6 times longer than standard zinc coatings. This environmentally friendly coating, free from Cr6+, has been salt spray tested to 400 hours, ensuring long-lasting protection against rust and corrosion.
Suitable for interior use, these screws are an excellent choice for joinery, furniture making, and general woodworking. Each tub comes with a complimentary Torx® compatible bit, making them ready to use straight out of the pack.
