These nails feature a 28° collation angle, making them perfect for construction applications where tool weight and working autonomy are key considerations.

Stick nails, containing approximately 25 nails per stick, are lighter than coiled nails, making them easier to handle—especially when working up a ladder. Their simpler feed mechanism also contributes to a lighter tool, enhancing user comfort during extended use. (Only tools fitted with sequential trip should be used for ladder work.)

Smooth shank nails are the most economical option due to their high-speed production, though they offer less holding power compared to ring shank nails. Their design requires less energy to drive, reducing air consumption per nail and sometimes allowing the use of smaller tools.

Bright finish nails are uncoated, making them cost-effective but prone to rust. They are best suited for temporary structures like one-way pallets where long-term durability isn’t a concern. Galvanized nails, coated with zinc, provide superior corrosion resistance, with thicker coatings (measured in microns) offering prolonged protection.
