ALPHA WIRE - EcoWire Hook-up Wire 30.5m (100ft) - White 20
Eco-friendly ALPHA WIRE hook-up wire with Noryl insulation. 24 AWG, 30.5m, rated for -40°C to 105°C. Oil, abrasion & flame resistant.
The ALPHA WIRE EcoWire Series of hook-up wires offers a high-performance, environmentally conscious alternative to traditional PVC cables. Featuring advanced Noryl (Modified Polyphenylene Ether) insulation, these wires are inherently lighter, tougher, and offer superior flame resistance compared to standard PVC. This innovative material results in UL-recognised Appliance Wiring Material (AWM) that is more compact than its PVC counterparts, saving valuable space in control panels, electronic enclosures, and machinery.
EcoWire is designed with sustainability and regulatory compliance in mind. The non-halogenated insulation contains no heavy metal pigments, aiding manufacturers in meeting stringent Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directives. Its robust construction ensures reliable performance in demanding environments, backed by excellent abrasion resistance and oil resistance (Oil Res. 1 rating).
Key Features & Benefits
- Advanced Insulation: Flexible Noryl (MPPE) insulation provides a smaller diameter, enhanced durability, and improved flame retardancy (UL VW-1).
- High-Quality Conductor: Features tinned, stranded copper conductors for superior solderability, corrosion resistance, and reliable electrical connectivity.
- Wide Operating Range: Rated for continuous use from -40°C to 105°C, making it suitable for both extreme cold and high-temperature applications.
- Environmental Compliance: Halogen-free and heavy metal-free construction supports WEEE and RoHS initiatives for greener electronic manufacturing.
- Broad Approvals: Carries key international approvals including CE, CSA AWM I A/B FT1, and UL 11028, ensuring safety and quality for global markets.
- Excellent Durability: Offers outstanding resistance to abrasion, oil, and general wear, ensuring long-term reliability in industrial settings.
