Faithfull PTFE Gas Tape 12mm x 5m, White, Pack of 10
Premium PTFE gas tape for leak-proof seals on pipes, valves & threaded gas lines. Compliant with BGC IM/16 & EN751-3. Pack of 10.
The Faithfull PTFE Gas Tape is a premium-quality polytetrafluoroethylene tape designed to create secure, leak-proof seals on threaded joints. This essential plumbing and heating component provides an effective barrier against gas, air, and water leaks, making it ideal for professional and DIY applications alike.
Unlike traditional sealing methods, this tape is non-adhesive and eliminates the need for messy compounds. It resists hardening, drying out, and cracking, maintaining its integrity even under pressure up to 20 bar. Additionally, it performs a lubricating function, making it easier to work with.
Applications
This versatile tape is widely used in the plumbing and heating industries. It is suitable for sealing pipes, conduits, bolts, valves, and threaded gas lines that carry common gases like air, oxygen, ammonia, butane, chlorine, and hydrogen, as well as liquids such as water, propylene glycol, kerosene, and diesel. It complies with BGC IM/16 and is tested to EN751-3:1997 standards, ensuring reliability and safety.
