The Yale Y3 Nightlatch is a contemporary security solution designed to combine modern aesthetics with the reliability and performance expected from Yale. This standard security nightlatch serves as an excellent replacement for traditional P77 nightlatches, requiring no additional chiselling for installation. Its sleek design is compatible with both left and right-handed, inward-opening doors, making it a versatile choice for modern homes.

A key feature of this nightlatch is the deadlocking function, which can be activated via the internal snib button. The snib function also allows the latch to be held back for convenience. Supplied with a Yale 1109 cylinder and two keys (Key blank: B-KEY-1109), this lock ensures secure and easy access.

The 60mm backset (distance from the edge of the door to the centre of the keyhole) provides a robust fit, ideal for standard door installations. For tighter spaces, such as narrow glass-panelled doors, a 40mm backset may be more suitable.
