Yale 85 Deadlocking Nightlatch, 40mm Backset, DMG Finish
High-security Yale 85 nightlatch with 40mm backset, automatic deadlocking & 2-year guarantee. Ideal for restricted-space doors.
The Yale 85 Deadlocking Nightlatch is one of the most popular front door latches, known for its reliability and high-security features. Designed for key operation from the outside and lever handle operation from the inside, this latch provides effortless entry while maintaining robust security.
Once the door is closed, the latch automatically deadlocks, ensuring enhanced protection. Additionally, the snib function (bolt hold-back button) allows the latch to be held open for convenience when needed.
For extra security, the inside handle can be deadlocked by reversing the key in the cylinder—this prevents the door from being opened from the inside unless the correct key is used. The lock comes supplied with a 1109 cylinder for added durability and pick resistance.
The Yale 85DMGPB model features a Dark Metallic Grey (DMG) hardened case finish and a polished brass cylinder, ensuring both style and resilience. Suitable for doors with restricted space (40mm backset), it's ideal for narrow glass-panelled doors.
Backed by a 2-year guarantee and carrying a high-security rating, this nightlatch offers peace of mind for homeowners and businesses alike.
