VENTCROFT SECURITY Fire Performance Cable 2 Core + CPC 1.5mm Reel - White
UK-made LPCB-certified fire cable for alarms & emergency lighting. 1.5mm², 2 core + CPC, low smoke zero halogen, 100m reel.
The VENTCROFT SECURITY Fire Performance Cable is a UK-made, high-specification electrical cable designed for critical life safety and emergency systems. Approved for fire alarms and emergency lighting, this cable is engineered to maintain circuit integrity and ensure reliable operation during a fire emergency. Its LPCB certification to BS5839 Pt1 2002 26.2d and BS8434 PH30 provides assurance of its performance under stringent fire conditions, making it a trusted choice for professional installers and specifiers.
Featuring a patented construction design, this cable is notably one of the fastest of its type to prepare for termination, saving valuable time on-site. It offers superb working flexibility, which simplifies installation in tight spaces and complex conduit runs. The cable is built with a low smoke, zero halogen (LSZH) jacket material (LSPVC), which significantly reduces the emission of toxic fumes and corrosive gases in the event of a fire, enhancing safety for building occupants and emergency responders.
Electrically, it is rated to operate up to 500V AC/DC between cores or 300V between a core and the Circuit Protection Conductor (CPC). The two-core plus CPC design, with a 1.5mm² conductor cross-sectional area, is ideal for standard fire system circuits. The solid copper conductors ensure excellent conductivity and reliability. While unscreened, the conductor insulation provides protection against electromagnetic interference.
Supplied on a convenient 100-metre reel, this cable provides ample length for most project requirements, minimising joins and ensuring a clean, professional installation. Its robust construction and certified performance make it an indispensable component for any fire protection system where reliability cannot be compromised.
