The UNION StrongBOLT 2200S BS 5 Lever Mortice Sashlock is a satin chrome sashlock with a 68 mm case, designed for timber doors hinged on the left or right and up to 54 mm thick. The deadbolt can be locked or unlocked by key from either side, and its 20 mm deadbolt provides positive deadlocking and added resistance to attack.
Security Features
The 2200S incorporates anti-pick, anti-saw and anti-drill security. Its chamfered bolt design improves performance under side load testing and makes drilling attack more difficult. The anti-pick and keyhole protection help prevent forced entry by picking, while hardened steel pins provide resistance to sawing.
Installation
The radius inner forend is designed for ease of installation and can fit many UK mortices without additional carpentry or spoiling the edge of the door. The lock is supplied with a covered escutcheon to match the forend, and a square face plate that covers the radius inner forend.
