Timco Twin-Thread Woodscrews, Zinc Plated, Size 8 x 1 1/4, 25 Pack

The Timco Twin-Thread Woodscrews offer a fast and secure fastening solution for soft timber and masonry applications (with plastic plugs). Featuring a traditional twin-thread design with single lead start, these screws provide quicker installation and superior holding power compared to standard woodscrews.

Key Features:

• Double countersunk head reduces head shear risk and ensures flush fitting
• Partially threaded (on 1 1/4” and above lengths) for optimal grip
• Made from C10-18 carbon steel for consistent quality and strength
• 60° twin-threads with parallel shank combine fast insertion with excellent pull-out resistance
• Surface hardened (750 HV) core prevents torque shearing while maintaining ductility (450 HV)
• 25° sharp point with single lead enables quick starts and improved thread acceptance

These zinc-plated screws come in a convenient 25-piece pack, making them ideal for various woodworking projects where reliability and ease of installation matter. The Pozi (PZ) drive offers better torque transfer than standard Phillips heads, reducing cam-out during installation.
