Timco SDS Plus Rebar Cutter 26 x 300, 872 g
Timco SDS Plus Rebar Cutter 26×300 for rotary hammer drills, made of high‑grade steel with heat‑treated tungsten carbide tips and an extraction slot, weighing 872 g.
The Timco SDS Plus Rebar Cutter is a heavy‑duty drill bit purpose‑built for cutting steel reinforcing bars (rebar) embedded in concrete. It is engineered for use with SDS Plus rotary hammer drills, delivering clean, precise holes for fixings, conduits and dowels where standard bits would fail.
Key Features
- High‑grade steel body for durability
- Tungsten carbide tips that are heat‑treated for maximum hardness and wear resistance
- Unique extraction slot along the flute to remove cut steel slugs, reducing clogging, friction and heat buildup
- Standard SDS Plus shank provides a secure, quick‑chuck fit for all major SDS Plus hammer drill brands
- Designed for rotary (drill‑only) mode – hammer action must be switched off to avoid damage
Usage Note
The cutter must be operated in rotary (drill‑only) mode. Engaging the hammer function on an SDS Plus machine will damage the specialised cutting edges and overall structure.
Compatibility
Fits all major SDS Plus rotary hammer drills, allowing rapid bit changes on site and making it an essential accessory for construction workers, civil engineers, electricians and plumbers working with reinforced concrete.
