Timco HD Bent Restraint Strap, 1500/100 mm, galvanised carbon steel for securing timber to masonry, compliant with BS 5268 Part 3.
Overview
The Timco HD Bent Restraint Strap provides a high‑strength solution for securing structural timber to masonry in line with UK Building Regulations. Constructed from robust carbon steel and finished with a protective galvanised coating, the strap delivers excellent corrosion resistance for long‑term durability in exposed building environments.
Design & Construction
The heavy‑duty bent design incorporates a pre‑formed bend that allows straightforward installation on roof trusses, rafters and floor joists. The strap’s dimensions – 1500 mm length, 40 mm width and 100 mm height – give ample surface area for a secure horizontal restraint, while the 1270 g weight reflects its solid build.
