Timco FlexiFire HP Intumescent Hinge Pads, Graphite, 100x30x1.0mm (6 Pack)
Fire-resistant hinge pads that expand 6x under heat, tested to BS476 & EN1634. Ideal for timber fire doors.
The Timco FlexiFire HP Intumescent Hinge Pads provide excellent fire protection for a wide range of hinges. Made from an ultra-thin and flexible graphite-based material, these pads are designed to expand over six times their original volume when exposed to heat, creating a highly effective fire barrier.
Safe to handle and easy to install without needing personal protective equipment (PPE), these hinge pads are suitable for 30 and 60-minute timber fire-rated applications. They offer superior thermal insulation before and after expansion, ensuring reliable protection against fire spread.
Key benefits include:
- Completely non-toxic and non-fibrous – safe for handling and installation
- Unaffected by moisture, humidity, or atmospheric pollution – ensuring long-term performance in various environments
- Exfoliates at around 180°C – the graphite surface layer activates under heat to provide insulation
- Rigorously tested to BS476 Part 22 and EN1634-1 fire safety standards
Ideal for fire door installations, these pads ensure compliance with building regulations while maintaining hinge functionality.
