The Timco Classic Multi-Purpose Screws are manufactured from A2 stainless steel, making them ideally suited for applications requiring superior corrosion resistance. These screws are perfect for fixing to softwoods, hardwoods (when pre-drilled), chipboard, MDF, and plastic. They are especially recommended for corrosive environments or when working with materials like green oak that have inherent corrosive characteristics.

• 40° deep single thread – Provides a secure fixing with high pull-out resistance.
• Surface hardened (up to 750 HV) – Prevents torque shearing under load, while the core hardness (up to 450 HV) improves ductility.
• Single slash point (25mm+) – Reduces torque and minimises the risk of timber splitting when inserted close to edges.
• Fully threaded up to 75mm, while longer screws (80mm+) have a 70mm thread length.
