The Timco Applique Drop Down Seal is an innovative door sealing solution that activates automatically when the door closes, creating an effective barrier against external elements. This surface-mounted seal drops down only upon door closure, maintaining a clear, flat threshold – eliminating the need for high fixed thresholds while complying with UK building regulations for accessibility and energy efficiency.
Constructed with galvanised steel flat springs and reinforced actuators for durability, this seal features a 4-fin high quality 'V' zero class PVC rubber that's self-extinguishing. It provides excellent protection against weather, noise (up to 37dB Rw), light penetration, fire (60-minute rating), smoke, and insects.
