Timco 8.0 x 300 Timber Screw, Green Exterior Coating
Timco 8.0 × 300 mm wafer head timber screw with green exterior coating, carbon steel construction and 1,000 h salt‑spray resistance.
The Timco Wafer Head Timber Screw provides a superior, corrosion‑resistant fastening solution designed primarily for robust timber‑to‑timber applications. Its low‑profile wafer head delivers enhanced clamping force and a clean, flush finish, while the patented multi‑layer plating has been tested to withstand up to 1,000 hours of salt spray in accordance with BS EN 9227:2012, making it ideal for demanding external use.
Key Features & Performance
- Patented Lubrication: Reduces drive torque for quicker, easier installation and adds to corrosion resistance.
- Optimised Thread Design: 50° deep single thread gives high pull‑out resistance and exceptional holding power in timber.
- Helix Shank & Sharp Point: Helix shank clears debris; 25° sharp point with single lead ensures fast, precise start and excellent thread acceptance.
- Reduced Splitting Risk: Single slash point minimises driving torque and lowers risk of timber splitting, especially near edges.
- Secure Drive System: Wafer head with TX40 recess provides a low‑profile finish and cam‑out resistant drive using a standard TX40 driver bit.
Constructed from high‑quality carbon steel, these screws combine immense strength with advanced protective technology.
