TEXAS INSTRUMENTS Operational Amplifier, DIP, 8 Pins - 1MHz 0.5V 5V 15V
Texas Instruments dual general-purpose op-amp in DIP-8. Features 1MHz bandwidth, ±5V to ±15V supply, and low power. Ideal for sensing.
The TEXAS INSTRUMENTS Operational Amplifier is a dual general-purpose operational amplifier, with each half electrically similar to the µA741, except that offset null capability is not provided. This makes it a versatile choice for a wide range of electronic applications.
This operational amplifier features a high common-mode input voltage range and is free from latch-up, making it ideal for voltage-follower applications. The device includes short-circuit protection and internal frequency compensation, ensuring stability without the need for external components. It is designed for low power consumption and requires no frequency compensation, simplifying circuit design.
Key specifications include a gain bandwidth product of 1MHz, a slew rate of 0.5V/µs, and a supply voltage range of ±5V to ±15V. It comes in a DIP package with 8 pins and is designed for through-hole mounting. With an input offset voltage of 1mV and input bias current of 80nA, this amplifier provides reliable performance. It operates over a temperature range of 0°C to 70°C.
This dual operational amplifier is designed to be interchangeable with Motorola MC1558/MC1458 and Signetics S5558/N5558, making it a practical replacement in many circuits. Whether used in sensing, instrumentation, or other general-purpose applications, this component delivers dependable performance.
