The TE Connectivity MTA-100 7-Way Right Angle Header is a versatile and cost-effective solution for wire-to-board and wire-to-wire connections, utilising insulation displacement contact (IDC) technology. This system enables mass termination of wires, significantly reducing labour costs for cable and harness assemblies.

The MTA-100 series features contacts in a single row with a 0.100-inch (2.54mm) pitch. Its innovative design includes wire feed-through capability, making it ideal for daisy-chain applications. The insulation displacement contacts efficiently terminate a wide range of conductor sizes, including 28 to 22AWG discrete wire and notched ribbon cable when paired with the appropriate receptacle assembly and strain relief cover.
