STAUBLI XZGL-425 4mm Plug, Shrouded - Black
Professional STAUBLI 4mm shrouded plug with retractable safety sleeve for test lead assembly. Rated 600V CAT II, 32A. Nickel-plated contacts.
The STAUBLI XZGL-425 series 4mm shrouded plug is a professional-grade component engineered for the safe and reliable assembly of test leads in demanding environments. This stackable plug features a Ø4mm pin and a distinctive spring-loaded Multilam™ contact system, ensuring a consistent, low-resistance electrical connection every time. Its standout safety feature is the retractable protective sleeve, which shields the metal pin to prevent accidental contact with live circuits, significantly reducing the risk of electric shock during use.
A key advantage of this plug is its innovative safety collar, which enhances the electrical clearances and creepage distances. This design allows test leads assembled with this plug to be safely connected to older test instruments that may not be equipped with modern safety sockets. It is certified for use in circuits up to 600V, CAT II, in full compliance with relevant industry standards, making it a versatile and future-proof choice for upgrading existing equipment.
Crafted with durability in mind, the plug utilises nickel-plated contacts for excellent corrosion resistance and stable conductivity. It is rated for a continuous current of 32A and uses a reliable screw termination type for secure and permanent cable attachment. The compact and robust design, with a vibrant and highly visible colour finish, facilitates easy identification and handling.
Ideal for industrial maintenance, laboratory work, and electronic testing, this plug provides a critical link in creating custom, high-integrity test leads. Its self-assembly nature offers flexibility, while its built-in safety features deliver the confidence required for working with hazardous voltages, making it an essential component for any professional toolkit focused on electrical measurement and diagnostics.
