STARTECH Single Mode OS2 LC-LC Simplex LSOH Fibre Optic Patch Lead - 2m
OS2 single mode fibre patch cable with LC connectors. Supports 40–100GbE, CWDM & BiDi transmission. LSOH, aramid-reinforced jacket.
The STARTECH Single Mode OS2 LC-LC Simplex LSOH Fibre Optic Patch Lead provides a high-performance, versatile connection for modern data networks. This cable is engineered for efficiency in space-constrained installations, supporting bi-directional data transmission over a single fibre strand.
Featuring an OS2 specification, it is optimised for demanding 40–100 Gigabit networks while maintaining backward compatibility with OS1 systems. A key feature is its support for Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM) across an extended wavelength range of 1260–1625nm, enabling higher data throughput and more efficient use of fibre infrastructure.
Designed for safety and durability, the cable boasts a Low Smoke, Zero Halogen (LSOH) flame-retardant jacket, making it suitable for use in environments with strict fire and safety regulations. The aramid-reinforced jacket provides exceptional tensile strength, with a loaded bend radius of just 10mm, ensuring reliable performance in tight installations and reducing the risk of signal loss due to kinking or stress.
Terminated with high-precision LC UPC connectors on both ends, this simplex patch lead ensures low insertion loss and stable optical performance. It is fully immune to electromagnetic interference (EMI), guaranteeing signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. Each cable is rigorously tested to meet or exceed stringent industry standards, including ITU-T G652.D/G657.A1 and IEC60703-2-50 type B1.3/B6.a1.
Ideal for data centres, telecommunications backbones, and enterprise network upgrades, this patch lead is a critical component for building a future-proof, high-speed, and reliable optical network.
