Rustins Knotting White 125ml - Wood Knot Sealant

Rustins Knotting White is a fast-drying sealant specifically designed to seal knots in wood and on resinous or creosoted timber. It effectively prevents the bleeding of resins through paint films, ensuring a clean and professional finish for both interior and exterior woodwork.

The product is applied liberally over knots and surrounding areas after sanding the surface smooth. It is important not to sand the knotting once applied, as this may compromise its effectiveness. For resinous or creosoted timber, two coats are recommended for complete sealing.

Important Note

Rustins Knotting should not be used under polyurethane clear varnishes, water-based varnishes, or water-based paints.
