Rustins Chalky Finish Paint - Windsor White, 500ml
Rustins Quick Dry Chalky Finish Paint revives furniture with a velvety matt finish. Perfect for shabby chic styles—easy to apply & distressed for vintage charm.
The Rustins Quick Dry Chalky Finish Paint is designed to revive and breathe new life into your furniture. With its easy application, this paint provides a velvety flat matt finish that enhances the look of any interior piece. The formulation includes wax for added durability and a smooth touch, requiring minimal preparation for previously coated surfaces.
This versatile paint can be applied over bare wood, hardboard, MDF, plaster, brickwork, and cement—though it should not be applied directly to metals unless a compatible primer is used first. It’s also perfect as a finish coat over existing wood and metal primers and paints. For best results, test a small area before full application to ensure compatibility.
Achieve the Shabby Chic Look
For a vintage, distressed effect, apply multiple coats and lightly sand down areas using fine sandpaper or steel wool. This technique allows the underlying layers to show through, creating a charming, time-worn aesthetic.
