Pro Signal LC-SC Duplex OM3 Fibre Optic Patch Lead - 2m
Pro Signal OM3 50/125µm LC-SC duplex fibre patch lead with LSOH jacket. For 10GbE, data centres & high-speed networks.
Elevate your high-speed network infrastructure with the Pro Signal LC-SC Duplex OM3 Fibre Optic Patch Lead. Engineered for performance and reliability, this patch cable is designed to deliver exceptional bandwidth and signal integrity over short to medium distances within data centres, server rooms, and enterprise networks.
This lead features OM3 (Optical Multimode 3) grade fibre, which supports higher bandwidth and enables greater transmission distances compared to older OM2 standards. It operates effectively across two primary wavelengths, 850nm and 1300nm, with an impressive bandwidth of 1500/2000MHz. This makes it an ideal choice for demanding applications such as 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE), Fibre Channel, and high-speed data backbones.
The cable is sheathed in a distinctive aqua-coloured Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSOH) jacket. This crucial safety feature means the cable produces minimal smoke and no toxic halogen gases when exposed to fire, making it suitable for use in public spaces, transport systems, and enclosed areas where human safety is a priority.
It is terminated with a versatile LC to SC duplex connector configuration. The small form-factor LC connector is perfect for high-density panels, while the robust SC connector offers a reliable, snap-in connection. This combination provides a flexible link between different types of networking equipment. The duplex design ensures separate pathways for transmitting and receiving data, maintaining optimal signal flow.
As a core component of the Pro Signal range, this patch lead is built to exacting standards, ensuring precise alignment of the 50/125µm multimode fibres for low insertion loss and high performance. It is an essential, high-quality connectivity solution for IT professionals, network installers, and system integrators who require dependable fibre optic links.
