PRO SIGNAL Cat8.1 LSOH SFTP Ethernet Patch Lead - Yellow 2m
High-speed Cat8.1 SFTP patch lead for 25/40GbE networks. LSOH, shielded, and backwards compatible with Cat5e/6. Ideal for professional use.
PRO SIGNAL Cat8.1 LSOH SFTP Ethernet Patch Lead
Engineered for professional network infrastructure, this high-performance Ethernet patch lead delivers exceptional speed and reliability. It is designed for modern 25 and 40 Gigabit Ethernet networks while maintaining full backward compatibility with common Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6a standards, ensuring it integrates seamlessly into existing and future setups.
The cable employs Screened and Foiled Twisted Pair (SFTP) construction, providing superior protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI). This shielding ensures stable, high-speed data transmission and minimises signal degradation in electrically noisy environments, which is critical for data centres, server rooms, and industrial applications.
A key safety feature is its low smoke, zero halogen (LSOH) jacket. In the event of a fire, this specialised cabling significantly reduces the amount of toxic smoke and corrosive chemicals released, enhancing safety for personnel and protecting sensitive electronic equipment. Flush-moulded strain reliefs at the connector ends provide robust support, allowing for high-density deployment in patch panels without compromising cable integrity or risking disconnection.
The snagless connector design features a protective boot that prevents the RJ45 locking clip from being damaged during installation or in crowded cabling situations, ensuring a secure and reliable connection every time. These patch leads are rigorously tested and comply with international standards ISO/IEC 11801 ED.2 and ANSI/TIA-568-C.2, guaranteeing performance and interoperability.
