PRO SIGNAL Multimode OM4 50/125µm ST-SC Duplex Fibre Optic Patch Lead - 2m
High-performance OM4 duplex fibre optic patch lead with ST & SC connectors. LSOH jacket, >35dB return loss for data centres & networks.
The PRO SIGNAL Multimode OM4 Duplex Fibre Optic Patch Lead is a premium-grade network cabling solution designed for high-performance data centre and enterprise network applications. Engineered with 50/125µm multimode glass fibre, this patch lead supports ultra-fast data transmission over extended distances, making it ideal for backbone connections, storage area networks (SANs), and high-speed switch interconnects.
Featuring high-quality UPC connectors on each end, this lead ensures reliable, low-loss optical performance. The connectors are polished to a precise standard, achieving a return loss greater than 35dB, which minimises signal reflection and maximises data integrity. The cable is terminated with industry-standard ST and SC connectors, providing a versatile link for a wide range of optical equipment.
The cable itself is sheathed in a durable aqua-coloured Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH/LSOH) jacket. This material is critical for safety in enclosed or public spaces, as it emits minimal smoke and no toxic halogen gases when exposed to fire. The OM4 fibre specification supports exceptional bandwidth—3500 MHz·km at 850nm and 4700 MHz·km at 1300nm—enabling support for high-speed protocols including 10GbE, 40GbE, and 100GbE Ethernet.
This patch lead is an essential component for any professional looking to future-proof their network infrastructure, offering superior performance, reliability, and safety compliance.
