PRO POWER - 16-2-2C 2 Core Screened Cable, 7/0.20mm, Black - 100m
Professional 2-core screened cable with tinned copper conductors & braid. Ideal for aircraft, control systems & data processors. 0.22mm² CSA.
The PRO POWER - 16-2-2C 2 Core Screened Cable is a professional-grade, screened cable engineered for demanding electrical applications where signal integrity and electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection are paramount. Its robust construction features two tinned, annealed copper conductors (16/0.2mm), ensuring excellent conductivity, corrosion resistance, and mechanical durability.
A key protective element is the comprehensive tinned copper braid screen (128/0.10mm), which provides superior shielding against electromagnetic and radio frequency interference. This makes the cable an ideal choice for sensitive electronic and data transmission environments. The outer jacket is crafted from durable PVC, offering resilience against abrasion, oils, and general wear while maintaining flexibility for easier installation in confined spaces.
Key Applications
This versatile screened cable is extensively utilised across critical industries. It is perfectly suited for high-density wiring within instruments and electronic equipment. Common applications include aircraft avionics, industrial process control systems, computer and data processor installations, as well as military vehicles and specialised equipment where reliability cannot be compromised.
Performance Specifications
The cable boasts a conductor cross-sectional area (CSA) of 0.22mm² and is designed with a minimum bending radius of 7.5 times its outer diameter for fixed installations, preventing damage to the internal conductors and screen during routing. Available in a standard black jacket for easy identification, this cable is part of the reliable PRO POWER 16-2-xC product range, delivering consistent performance for professional electrical and electronic projects.
