PRO ELEC SY Control Cable, 4 Core, Screened - 1.5mm 50m
Flexible 4-core SY control cable with steel wire braid shielding. 1mm² copper conductors, 300/500V rated, for industrial instrumentation and machinery.
The PRO ELEC SY Control Cable is a robust and flexible solution designed for demanding instrumentation and control applications. Constructed with four plain copper conductors in a Class 5 flexible configuration, this cable is engineered for reliable signal and power transmission in industrial environments such as tooling machinery, production lines, and automated systems where free movement is required without significant tensile load.
The cable features a distinctive steel wire braid that serves a dual purpose: providing excellent mechanical protection against transverse loads and acting as an effective magnetic screen against electromagnetic interference (EMI), ensuring signal integrity. Encased in a transparent PVC outer jacket, the cable is suitable for use in dry, moist, and wet rooms, offering versatile installation options.
Rated for 300/500V, this control cable operates reliably across a wide temperature range, from -40°C to +80°C when fixed, and from -5°C to +70°C when flexed. Its flexible design is complemented by clear minimum bend radius guidelines to ensure longevity and performance—10 times the overall diameter when fixed and 20 times when flexed. It is important to note that this cable is not intended for outdoor or underground installation.
Key to its performance are the high-quality materials: copper conductors for optimal conductivity and a durable PVC jacket for insulation and protection. This combination makes the PRO ELEC SY Control Cable a dependable choice for engineers and electricians requiring a screened, flexible cable for control circuits, instrumentation hook-ups, and other flexible applications within industrial settings.
