Penn Elcom 6U Lightweight Aluminium Rack Drawer, Deep - 485mm
Lightweight 6U aluminium rack drawer, black powder coated, 38kg capacity, key lock and slam latch, fits 19-inch racks.
The Penn Elcom 6U Lightweight Aluminium Rack Drawer is a robust and practical storage solution designed for 19-inch rack mount systems. Constructed from 2mm black powder coated aluminium, this drawer offers a sturdy platform for holding a variety of devices and equipment while being significantly lighter than traditional steel alternatives.
Weighing over 40% less than a steel drawer, this aluminium model simplifies handling and reduces the load on your rack enclosure. The space-saving flat front panel provides a clean, professional appearance, while the reinforced steel rack mounting ears ensure secure and reliable installation. Rear support brackets are included to add extra stability, making it suitable for both professional and DIY environments.
The drawer features a slam latch and key lock, supplied with two keys, to keep contents secure. With a generous 38kg load capacity, it can safely store heavy equipment. The external dimensions are 482.6mm (W) x 266.1mm (H) x 286.5mm (D), while the internal dimensions offer 407mm (W) x 252mm (H) x 256mm (D) of usable space.
Designed for quick and easy installation, this rack drawer combines practicality with durability. Its aluminium construction resists corrosion and ensures long-lasting performance, making it an excellent choice for organising components in any server room, studio, or industrial setting.
