TEXAS INSTRUMENTS Operational Amplifier, Dual, DIP, 8 Pins - 1.5 MHz 1.3V 3V 15.5V
TEXAS INSTRUMENTS dual JFET-input op-amp in DIP-8 package. Features 3MHz bandwidth, 13V/µs slew rate, and wide 7-36V supply for audio & control.
The TEXAS INSTRUMENTS family of dual operational amplifiers represents a versatile and high-performance solution for a wide array of electronic applications. Designed with a JFET-input stage, these integrated circuits offer exceptional input impedance and very low input bias and offset currents, making them ideal for precision signal processing tasks where minimal loading and high accuracy are required.
A key advantage of this amplifier series is its combination of high slew rates and low harmonic distortion. This performance characteristic ensures clean signal amplification with minimal phase shift, which is critical for high-fidelity audio systems, sensitive sensor interfaces, and accurate test and measurement equipment. The internal frequency compensation simplifies circuit design by eliminating the need for external components to ensure stability.
Constructed with well-matched, high-voltage JFET and bipolar transistors on a monolithic chip, these op-amps provide robust operation across a broad supply voltage range. This flexibility allows for use in both single and dual-supply configurations, catering to diverse power supply designs. The inclusion of output short-circuit protection safeguards the device and the broader circuit from damage during fault conditions, enhancing overall system reliability.
These through-hole components are housed in a classic DIP package, facilitating easy prototyping and integration into breadboards and printed circuit boards. The latch-up-free operation ensures dependable performance even in demanding environments. With their low power consumption and wide operating temperature range, these amplifiers are a dependable choice for industrial controls, motor drive systems, and audio pre-amplifiers, delivering consistent quality and performance where it matters most.
