OB1 Brown Multi-Surface Construction Sealant & Adhesive is a brown, waterproof sealant and adhesive supplied as a box of 12, with zero VOCs and the ability to bond a wide range of materials.

Overview

OB1 Brown bonds all metals, including lead, and plastics such as PVC and GRP. It also bonds glass, mirror, polystyrene, fibreglass and wood. It works in water and in wet or dry conditions, including salt water. The formulation is a hybrid polymer that contains no solvents or isocyanates.

• Zero VOCs

Applications

The sealant is suited to a range of construction, domestic and industrial tasks. It can bond and seal marble, granite and quartz kitchen worktops, and its ISEGA conformity makes it suitable for kitchens and food preparation areas. In bathrooms, it cures solid without holes. On roofs, it can seal, grip and fill lead flashings to stone, brick and felt, even when wet. It can also be used to repair leaking gutters, including when applied under water.

Because it contains no solvents, it is suited to solar panel fixings, where it is not expected to crack, shrink or collapse. Mirrors can be bonded with it, as the formula does not degrade the back of mirrors. For carbon fibre, fibreglass and GRP, it can be used for instant repair or bonding. In gardens, it can repair terracotta, ceramic, cracked concrete, slate and broken pots and planters, whether dry or wet, as well as garden pond ornaments under water. For swimming pools, it can bond floor and wall tiles as a structural underwater bond without draining the pool.
