NETGEAR 16 Port Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ Unmanaged Desktop Switch - 183W
Expand your network with this 16-port NETGEAR Gigabit PoE+ switch. Features 183W power budget, silent fanless design & plug-and-play setup.
The NETGEAR 16 Port Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ Unmanaged Desktop Switch is a cost-effective networking solution designed to expand your business infrastructure with ease. Its versatile, low-profile form factor makes it an ideal choice for offices, retail spaces, and commercial environments seeking to deploy multiple connected devices. This switch features sixteen Gigabit Ethernet ports, each supporting Power over Ethernet (PoE) and PoE+ standards, allowing you to power a variety of Internet of Things (IoT) devices directly through the network cable.
With a total PoE power budget of up to 183W, this switch can efficiently support demanding deployments of IP security cameras, wireless access points, VoIP phones, and other networked equipment. The plug-and-play installation ensures automatic connectivity, eliminating complex setup procedures and saving valuable time. It is engineered to intelligently prioritise voice and video traffic, ensuring clear communication and high-quality streaming for critical business applications.
A standout feature is the flexible PoE budget system. The included power adaptor is interchangeable, providing the freedom to increase or decrease the total power budget by simply purchasing a different compatible power supply. This offers excellent scalability as your network power requirements evolve. The switch delivers robust performance with 32 Gb/s switching bandwidth, a 1 MB packet buffer, and support for Jumbo frames, enhancing data transfer efficiency for larger files.
Designed for flexible placement, its low-profile chassis is suitable for desktop use, wall mounting, or rack installation. The completely fanless design guarantees silent operation, making it perfect for noise-sensitive environments like open-plan offices or reception areas. The product is supplied with a UK mains plug (type G), ensuring compatibility with electrical standards in the United Kingdom and other regions.
