MULTICOMP PRO AC/DC Clamp Meter - 400A 28mm
Professional MULTICOMP PRO clamp meter with True RMS, NCV detection & 400A AC/DC measurement. CAT III safety rated for reliable electrical testing.
The MULTICOMP PRO AC/DC Clamp Meter is a professional-grade, portable electrical measurement tool engineered for safety, accuracy, and versatility. Designed in strict accordance with EN61010-1 safety standards, this meter is rated for CAT II 600V and CAT III 300V environments, providing full-function protection to ensure a safe and reliable experience for users across various industrial, commercial, and domestic electrical tasks.
At its core, this clamp meter features true RMS (Root Mean Square) measurement, which is essential for accurately measuring non-linear loads and distorted waveforms commonly found in modern electrical systems. This guarantees precise readings of AC current and voltage, making it a reliable tool for diagnostics and troubleshooting. The meter boasts an impressive 4000-count digital display for clear, high-resolution readings and offers both automatic and manual range selection to simplify operation for users of all experience levels.
Key Features and Functions
Beyond basic current measurement, this versatile tool integrates a comprehensive digital multimeter (DMM). It is capable of measuring AC/DC voltage, resistance up to 40Mohm, capacitance, and frequency across a wide spectrum. The high voltage frequency measurement extends from 10Hz to 60KHz, while the low voltage range covers 60Hz to 10MHz, accommodating a vast array of applications.
Practical features enhance its usability: an audio-visual Non-Contact Voltage (NCV) detection function allows for the safe identification of live wires, while a continuity test with an audible buzzer quickly checks for circuit integrity. Advanced modes such as MAX/MIN recording, data hold, relative mode (for differential measurements), and zero mode provide the functionality needed for complex diagnostic work. The device also includes automatic power-off and a low battery indicator for efficiency and convenience, powered by two standard AAA batteries.
