Multicomp PRO 2:1 Normal Wall Heat Shrink Tubing - Black 12.7mm x 100m
Multicomp PRO 2:1 normal wall heat shrink tubing. Halogen-free polyolefin for wire insulation and inspection. -55°C to +105°C operating temp.
The Multicomp PRO 2:1 Normal Wall Heat Shrink Tubing offers a reliable and versatile solution for insulation, strain relief, and bundling of wires and cables. Manufactured from high-quality, halogen-free polyolefin, this tubing ensures safety and performance across a broad range of electrical and mechanical applications. Its normal wall construction provides a robust layer of protection while allowing for easy viewing and inspection of the underlying components, which is essential for troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
Designed with a 2:1 shrink ratio, the tubing shrinks to half its original supplied diameter, ensuring a snug and secure fit around various connector and wire sizes. The material begins to shrink at a minimum temperature of 70°C and achieves full recovery at a minimum of 105°C, making it compatible with standard heat guns and soldering equipment. Furthermore, the tubing operates effectively in extreme conditions, with an impressive operating temperature range spanning from -55°C to +105°C. This wide thermal capability makes it suitable for demanding environments, including automotive, aerospace, and industrial electronics.
Whether you are performing routine cable repairs, creating neat wire harnesses, or insulating electrical splices, this heat shrink tubing delivers consistent quality and durability. The halogen-free composition is particularly advantageous in enclosed spaces or applications where low smoke emission and reduced toxic gas generation are critical safety requirements. Trust in Multicomp PRO's precision engineering to provide long-lasting and secure cable management solutions for your professional projects.
