MOLEX / BRAD KK 254 2695 Connector Housing, Socket, 4 Way - 2.54mm
MOLEX KK 254 4-way socket housing for board-to-board & wire-to-board, 2.54mm pitch, up to 5A.
The MOLEX / BRAD KK 254 Connector Housing is designed for reliable board-to-board and wire-to-board connections. This socket housing, part of the KK 254 2695 series, delivers up to 5A and 250V per circuit, making it suitable for a wide range of power and signal applications. The 2.54mm centreline pitch ensures compatibility with standard KK connectors, providing a secure and consistent connection.
This connector housing features dual-cantilever terminals for dependable electrical contact, while the polarizing header backwalls and ribs on the receptacle ensure correct orientation during mating, preventing misalignment. The friction-lock design provides a secure hold, reducing the risk of accidental disconnection. The housing is constructed from high-quality materials, with the KK RPC headers available in high-temperature nylon and reflow matte-tin plating for enhanced durability.
Applications
This versatile connector is ideal for use in automotive systems, consumer electronics, communications networking, and medical devices. Its robust design and high current rating make it a dependable choice for engineers and manufacturers seeking a compact yet powerful interconnection solution. The 4-way socket configuration allows for efficient space utilisation on PCBs, and it is compatible with a range of crimp terminals, including 2759, 6459, 41572, 4809, and 8088 series.
