Applications by Grade
Liberon Steel Wool comes in seven grades for different tasks:
- Ultra Fine (0000): Ideal for delicate polishing tasks.
- Cut back between coats of French polishes, varnishes, and oil finishes.
- Clean and polish bronze, copper, chrome, stainless steel, and aluminium.
- Light sanding between varnish or paint layers.
- Polish porcelain, marble, and glass without scratching.
- Fine to Medium (00, 0, 1): Best for light cleaning and prep work.
- Remove wax build-up and dirt with Liberon Wax and Polish Remover.
- Smooth wood or metal surfaces before polishing, waxing, or painting.
- Clean metals effectively using a suitable solvent.
- Medium to Coarse (2, 3, 4): Designed for heavy-duty tasks.
- Work with Liberon Fine Wood Stripper to strip old finishes.
