ForgeFix Wafer Head TORX® Construction Screws, 8x160mm, Tan, Tub of 30
ForgeFix 8mm x 160mm wafer head screws with TORX® drive. Self-drilling, corrosion-resistant & CE approved for timber construction.
The ForgeFix Wafer Head TORX® Compatible Construction Screws are designed for secure fastening in both softwood and hardwood. Featuring a deep TORX® compatible insert, these screws significantly reduce cam-out, allowing for higher torque levels and a firmer drive. The super sharp tip ensures immediate bite from the first turn, while the patented self-drilling thread eliminates the need for pre-drilling, reducing the risk of timber splitting—even near the edges.
Made with hardened case and core, these screws offer exceptional strength and durability. The Elementech 2000 surface treatment provides superior corrosion resistance, up to 30 times longer than standard zinc-coated screws. Additionally, they exhibit high resistance to pull-out and can flex up to 35°, minimising the chance of shearing in flexible materials.
