Premium ForgeFix Spectre™ wood screws with PZ drive, anti-split thread & zinc finish. CE-certified for load-bearing use. Tub of 1,200.
The ForgeFix Spectre™ PZ Compatible Wood Screws combine premium features into a versatile, high-performance fastener designed for woodworking applications. These advanced multi-purpose screws feature a countersunk Pozidrive-compatible head for secure driving and a flush finish. The fully threaded design (up to 50mm) includes a sawtooth thread to prevent wood splitting and a reamer to eliminate jacking (for lengths 50mm+). A Type 17 slash point ensures quick starts, while surface hardening enhances durability.
These screws boast a zinc yellow passivated finish, offering superior corrosion resistance with an aesthetically pleasing yellow hue. The electroplating process is akin to galvanisation but includes a yellow dye for a distinctive appearance. Importantly, they are CE approved for load-bearing timber constructions, ensuring reliability in structural applications.
