ForgeFix General Purpose Pozi Screws, Countersunk, Electro Brass, 1.25in x 8, 2
ForgeFix Pozi screws with electro brass finish for durable, decorative applications. Countersunk head, twin threads, 200 per box.
The ForgeFix General Purpose Pozi Compatible Screws feature a countersunk head with an electro brassed finish, designed for durability and aesthetic appeal, making them suitable for most interior and decorative applications. These screws are highly versatile, ideal for use with a variety of materials, ensuring a reliable hold in numerous settings.
The electro brassed process enhances corrosion resistance while providing an attractive finish, similar to galvanised or zinc-plated screws but with an additional dye for a more decorative appearance. This makes them perfect for applications where both functionality and visual appeal are important.
Pozidriv screws differ from classic Phillips heads by featuring four additional points of contact and no rounded corners, reducing the risk of cam-out when driving. This design allows for greater torque application, ensuring a secure fit. The Pozidriv drive can be easily identified by the 45° line embossed in the screw head.
Countersunk heads are designed to sit flush with the substrate, providing a smooth surface finish, while the twin threads facilitate an easy start when driving the screws.
