Eclipse Magnetics Nickel Plated Neodymium Disc Magnet - 8mm x 1mm 0.39kg

These Eclipse Magnetics Nickel Plated Neodymium Disc Magnets offer an exceptionally strong holding force in a highly compact form factor. Despite their small size, they are capable of achieving equal or greater holding forces than significantly larger traditional pot magnets, making them a superior choice for discreet and space-saving installations. Designed for maximum versatility, they can be securely fixed in place using a variety of adhesives, such as superglue, cyanoacrylate, or two-part epoxies.

For a more integrated or protected installation, holes can be machined into parts allowing the magnets to be glued in place, inserted deeper, and potted away. This technique not only hides the magnet but also provides extra corrosion protection. In applications like furniture making, these discs are often covered with a thin wood layer or veneer to completely conceal them, ensuring a clean and professional aesthetic appearance without compromising on magnetic strength.

Crafted from high-quality neodymium and featuring a durable nickel plating, these disc magnets boast a high resistance to de-magnetisation, ensuring long-lasting and reliable performance. They are suitable for a wide range of holding, fixing, and creative applications, provided the maximum operating temperature of 80°C is not exceeded. Whether you are designing magnetic closures, constructing bespoke fixtures, or requiring robust industrial holding solutions, these magnets deliver consistent and powerful results.
