DURATOOL Stainless Steel Lock Nuts - M16

The DURATOOL Stainless Steel Lock Nuts are precision-engineered fasteners designed to deliver superior holding power in demanding environments. Each nut features a nylon insert that bites into the bolt thread, effectively preventing loosening caused by vibration, shock, or dynamic loads. This self-locking mechanism ensures a secure and reliable connection, reducing the need for frequent retightening and maintenance.

Manufactured from A2 stainless steel, these nuts offer excellent corrosion resistance and are ideal for outdoor applications where exposure to moisture, rain, and atmospheric pollutants is a concern. The material’s inherent durability guarantees a long, maintenance-free service life, even in the harshest conditions. These lock nuts are especially suited to high-performance applications where consistent clamping force is critical.

The nylon insert also provides a degree of electrical insulation and can be used with galvanized or stainless steel bolts, making them a versatile choice for many projects.
