CHIP QUIK ESD Rubber Bench Mat, Blue - 300mm x 300mm
Protect sensitive electronics with the CHIP QUIK ESD bench mat. Dual-layer rubber, 2mm thick, with pre-installed grounding for static-safe workspaces.
The CHIP QUICK ESD Rubber Bench Mat is an essential component for any professional electronics workshop or assembly area, providing a critical safeguard for sensitive components. This high-quality mat is engineered to effectively control electrostatic discharge, a leading cause of damage to integrated circuits, printed circuit boards, and other delicate electronic parts during assembly, rework, and repair tasks.
Constructed from durable, dual-layer rubber, the mat features a light blue static-dissipative top surface. This design channels potentially harmful static charges safely to ground, preventing them from building up and damaging your valuable equipment. For user convenience, the mat comes with pre-installed grounding buttons, allowing for immediate and straightforward connection to a proper earth point using the supplied wrist strap ground cord. This ensures a consistently safe and compliant working environment is established with minimal effort.
With a thickness of 2mm, the mat offers a resilient and comfortable work surface that can withstand daily use from tools and components. It is fully compliant with RoHS 3 and REACH regulations, confirming its safety for both the user and the environment. The specified electrical resistance ranges ensure optimal performance for dissipating static charges without creating a hazardous conductive path.
Ideal for a wide range of electronics applications, this bench mat is a fundamental tool for anyone involved in manufacturing, technical repair, prototyping, or hobbyist electronics. By creating a controlled, static-safe zone on your workbench, it provides peace of mind and helps extend the lifespan of your electronic projects and products. The included accessories facilitate a complete and effective ESD protection setup right out of the box.
