Chemtronics Fiber Optic Connector Cleaning Swabs, 100 Pack - 1.25mm

The Chemtronics Fiber Optic Connector Cleaning Swabs are precision-engineered to maintain optimal performance in fibre optic networks by thoroughly cleaning connector end-faces and alignment sleeves. Each swab features a proprietary microporous foam head that instantly absorbs oils and solvents, effectively removing transmission-disrupting contaminants such as dirt and oil from optical surfaces.

The flat head design conforms to a variety of connector shapes, enabling meticulous cleaning of conductor bulkhead corners and the inner recesses of bulkhead pockets. These swabs are suitable for both wet and dry cleaning methods, offering flexibility to match your preferred maintenance routine while ensuring reliable removal of contamination.

Manufactured with a superior proprietary foam and free from glues, the swabs minimise leachable contaminants that could compromise sensitive optical components. The head is constructed without weld seams, preventing any risk of scratching the delicate conductor surface. The robust polyester tip and polypropylene handle provide durability and precision during use, making them ideal for technicians who demand high-integrity cleaning solutions.

Whether you are performing routine maintenance or restoring degraded connections, these swabs deliver consistent, residue-free performance. Packaged in a convenient 100-piece pack, they are an essential addition to any fibre optic toolkit, ensuring your network stays clean, efficient, and reliable.
