The Bahco ERGO Side Cutting Heavy-Duty Pliers are 180mm (7in) pliers made from high performance steel, with a black anti-corrosion finish and edges induction hardened at 62 HRC. They are designed to outlast more than 50,000 cuts of hard wire.
Overview
The pliers have two-component combination handles, with a thermoplastic surface on tough polypropylene for a secure grip. Progressive edges vary the cutting radius along the edge, so hard material such as piano wire can be cut close to the joint, while soft materials such as copper and plastic insulated wire can be cut at the tip. The screw joint provides smooth running and accurate alignment of the cutting edges.
The heavy-duty cutting edge provides a sturdy cut across the whole blade. The reinforced metal frame is designed to withstand extreme conditions and hold up extra hard wires.
