The AMP TE Connectivity MTA-100 series connector is a versatile wire-to-board and wire-to-wire system based on insulation displacement contact (IDC) technology. It enables mass termination of wires, significantly reducing labour costs for cable or harness assemblies while ensuring reliable connections.

These connectors feature contacts in a single row with a 0.100-inch (2.54mm) pitch spacing, allowing for efficient space utilisation. The design includes wire feed-through capability, making it ideal for daisy-chain applications. Suitable for a wide range of conductor sizes, they can terminate 28 to 22 AWG discrete wires or notched ribbon cable when paired with the appropriate receptacle assembly and strain relief cover.
