Overview

The R4 MultiTrak is designed for musicians and songwriters who want to layer tracks while capturing a demo or building an original composition. Its workflow allows you to record up to four individual tracks, mix them, and bounce the mixdown to a dedicated bounce track. This frees up the original tracks so you can continue adding layers. You can also undo your last bounce to revisit a mix or record new parts as a project develops.

The dual AD circuitry with 32-bit float recording virtually eliminates the possibility of clipping, including when input levels are unpredictable. Connectivity includes two XLR/TS combo inputs with phantom power, suitable for microphones, guitars, and keyboards. Monitoring is handled through a stereo 3.5 mm headphone output, and each of the four tracks has its own dedicated fader for volume control.
