Visaton 100V Waterproof Ceiling Speaker, 6.5 Inch, 6W RMS
IP65-rated Visaton 100V ceiling speaker for pools & harsh environments. 6W RMS, corrosion-resistant, works at -40°C.
The Visaton 100V Waterproof Ceiling Speaker delivers clear and reliable audio in demanding environments, thanks to its IP65-rated construction. Built to withstand moisture, dust, and corrosion, this 6.5-inch speaker is an ideal choice for both indoor and outdoor installations where durability is key.
Its robust design features an encased magnet and silicon-coated leads, providing excellent protection against water ingress and corrosive elements like chloric air, making it perfectly suited for challenging locations such as swimming pools and spa areas. The moulded plastic cone, basket, and grille ensure consistent performance and long-term resilience.
Engineered for harsh conditions, this speaker maintains full functionality in extreme cold, performing reliably at temperatures as low as -40°C according to the EN 60068-2-1 standard. This makes it suitable for unheated warehouses, freezer rooms, or outdoor applications in all seasons.
Operating on a 100V line system, it offers flexible power tappings at 6W, 3W, and 1.5W RMS, allowing for precise volume zoning and efficient amplifier matching. With a frequency response ranging from 60Hz to 15kHz, it provides balanced sound reproduction for background music, paging, and announcements.
With its combination of waterproof integrity, corrosion resistance, and cold-weather performance, this ceiling speaker is a versatile and dependable audio solution for commercial, industrial, and leisure environments.
