Timco universal framing anchor, 124 mm × 40 mm, high‑grade carbon steel with galvanised finish, reversible design and on‑site bending slot for strong nailed timber...
Overview
The Universal Framing Anchor from Timco offers a strong, versatile and cost‑effective solution for creating robust nailed joints in timber framing. It is engineered from high‑grade carbon steel and finished with a galvanised coating, providing excellent corrosion resistance for long‑term structural integrity in both indoor and outdoor projects.
Design
Its innovative design incorporates a unique bending slot that allows instant, precise on‑site bending. This feature enables the anchor to be rapidly adapted for two‑way and three‑way ties. The reversible design further increases flexibility, making it suitable for a wide range of connection scenarios where a fixed bracket would be unsuitable.
Performance
As an economical secondary connector, the anchor reinforces timber joints mechanically, reducing reliance on complex carpentry techniques. It delivers a secure, reliable hold and efficiently transfers loads within the timber frame, enhancing overall stability.
